Created in 2000, the Donor of Distinction Societies were established to honour and thank LHSC’s most generous supporters. Individuals and organizations who have given a cumulative amount of $25,000 or more are permanently welcomed into our Donor of Distinction Societies. The Societies are named to reflect the rich history of our community and the deep commitment of our donors.
Each year, we host a dinner reception to thank these donors for their dedication to the advancement of health care at London Health Sciences Centre and to provide an update on which crucial projects donor dollars have supported. The Donor of Distinction Societies Presidents Dinner was held May 25, 2017, and featured keynote speaker Dr. Bob Kiaii, LHSC’s Chair/Chief of Cardiac Surgery. The event is open to members of the Donor of Distinction Societies. Members receive an invite at least one month prior to the dinner.
