Fraud Alert

Dear London Health Sciences Foundation supporters,

Occasionally we are alerted that people have received a fax, e-mail or post mail claiming that the recipient has won a prize in one of our lotteries without purchasing a ticket. It is our understanding that these are fraudulent schemes, where someone is using our identification WITHOUT PERMISSION in an attempt to create credibility.

Please be aware that London Health Sciences Foundation (LHSF) located in London, Ontario, Canada DOES NOT conduct an international lottery and HAS NOT agreed to its name being used in connection with any such lottery.  Our Foundation DOES NOT conduct random fax, e-mail or post lotteries.

LHSF Lotteries

London Health Sciences Foundation does conduct two annual lotteries in Ontario, Canada and the provincial government strictly regulates these lotteries. Both lotteries are licensed and account in detail to government regulators. You must purchase a ticket in order to win one of these lotteries. 

Tickets for our lotteries can be purchased at participating retailers in Southwestern Ontario, at our lottery homes, or they can be ordered on-line, by phone or by fax from the LHSF office. London Health Sciences Foundation mails all tickets for our lotteries to Ontario, Canada addresses ONLY. London Health Sciences Foundation DOES NOT e-mail tickets, and tickets ARE NOT sent outside of Ontario, Canada by LHSF.

The proceeds from tickets purchased for these lotteries support health care and medical research in London, Ontario Canada.

Dream Lottery is held in the spring in support of hospitals located in London, Ontario, Canada (St Joseph's Health Care London, Children's Hospital at London Health Sciences Centre, and London Health Sciences Centre). We hold the Win A Million lottery in the fall in support of London Health Sciences Centre in London. Ontario, Canada.
