The Medicine Services clinical services area at London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC) is home to over 2,000 dedicated staff and physicians in Clinical Neurological Sciences, Family Medicine and Medicine. From those departments, Medicine Services provides a diverse range of vital healthcare services to patients in London and Southwestern Ontario.

From life-saving care in our Regional Renal, Neurosurgery and Stroke programs to comprehensive care in our Family Medical Clinics, Ambulatory Clinic and Palliative Care program, the scope of Medicine Services is as broad as the region we serve. Our three Emergency Departments provide care to 145,000 patients per year while our Endoscopy Units help to screen and treat a range of cancers and give hope for patients dealing with the complexities of inflammatory bowel disease. Medicine Services also helps to advance the standard of care in our community and around the world through our state-of-the-art Clinical Pharmacology program and our support of the Centre for Clinical Investigations and Therapeutics (CCIT) at the new Lindros Legacy Research building.
