For more than 50 years, London Regional Cancer Program (LRCP) at London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC) has provided the highest-quality care to patients from across Southwestern Ontario and their families. London Regional Cancer Program is a leader in integrated cancer care, education and research. As an academic program, LRCP gives patients access to advanced diagnostics, novel therapies, innovative clinicians and cutting-edge clinical and translational research.

Also known as "lab-to-bedside" or "bench-to-bedside" research, translational research will be an important part of continuing LRCP's tradition of exemplary patient care as it quickly transforms scientific discoveries arising from laboratory or clinical studies into clinical applications. Fundamentally, it puts valuable theories into practice in an effort to save lives and advance the standard of health care for patients and families dealing with cancer. As translational research leaders in cancers such as head and neck, ovarian, prostate and breast, LRCP - with your support - is able to provide the highest-quality care for the patients of today and make the discoveries to better care for the patients of tomorrow.
