Medicine Services at London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC) employs over 2,000 dedicated staff and physicians in Clinical Neurological Sciences, Family Medicine and Medicine. They care for the patients of today, teach the caregivers of tomorrow and discover the cures of the future.

Medicine Services provides a diverse range of vital health care services to patients in London and throughout Southwestern Ontario. From life-saving care in our Regional Renal, Neurosurgery and Stroke programs to comprehensive care in our Family Medical Clinics, Ambulatory Clinic and Palliative Care program, the scope of Medicine Services is as broad as the region we serve. Our Emergency Departments provide care to 145,000 patients per year while our Endoscopy Units help to screen and treat a range of cancers and give hope to patients dealing with the complexities of inflammatory bowel disease.

Medicine Services is also a key part of the research initiatives at LHSC that help to advance the standard of care in our community and around the world as we share our discoveries. With your support, Medicine Services' state-of-the-art Clinical Pharmacology program - including Personalized Medicine - and our support of the Centre for Clinical Investigations and Therapeutics (CCIT) at the Lindros Legacy Research building will help keep LHSC at the forefront of medical breakthroughs for generations to come.
