Dear London, Ontario hospital supporters,

We continue to receive requests from around the world asking us to confirm winners of various, so-called "international draws" that fraudulently use the name of our Foundation or the logo and branding of Dream Lottery or Millionaire Lottery. Please be aware that our Foundation does not conduct draws outside of Ontario, Canada. Any office claiming to represent London Health Sciences Foundation (LHSF) in such instances is doing so without our permission and any prize offered is quite possibly a scam.

These fake lotteries have used both e-mail and post to send messages telling people that their names were entered into a draw, and that they were selected at random to win a prize. People are eventually asked to reveal private financial information in order to claim their prize or "activate" a check. If you have received one of these letters or e-mails, please do not reveal your financial or banking information as the senders may be trying to gain access to your bank or credit accounts. Do not send any money in order to claim a prize. You will likely lose your money and never receive a prize.

This does not affect those who have purchased Dream Lottery or Millionaire Lottery tickets from authorized sales locations. Legitimate Dream Lottery or Millionaire Lottery tickets purchased from authorized sales locations are safe.

London Health Sciences Foundation, which is located in London, Ontario, Canada, does conduct two annual lotteries in the province of Ontario, Canada and the provincial government strictly regulates these lotteries. Both lotteries are licensed and account in detail to government regulators.

You must purchase a ticket in order to win one of these lotteries.

Tickets for the lotteries can be purchased at participating retailers in Southwestern Ontario, at our lottery prize homes, or they can be ordered by phone, internet or fax from the LHSF office.

Sciences Foundation DOES NOT e-mail tickets, and tickets ARE NOT sent outside of Ontario, Canada by LHSF.

The proceeds from tickets purchased for these lotteries support healthcare and medical research in London, Ontario Canada.

The Dream Lottery is held in the spring in support of hospitals located in London, Ontario, Canada (St Joseph's Health Care London, Children's Hospital and London Health Sciences Centre).

The Millionaire Lottery is held in the fall in support of London Health Sciences Centre in London, Ontario, Canada.
